SYMPOSIUM: 24-26 NOVEMBER 2021

The symposium took successfully place from 24 to 26 November 2021 at the École polytechnique Paris, Palaiseau

The event is co-organized by the École polytechnique Paris and the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics .

We thanks all the speakers, keynotes lecturers, participants and sponsors who made this symposium a success.

The Symposium provided a snapshot of the most relevant topics in the CubeSat world, from technology demonstrators and scientific missions to the future technologies and the space exploration with CubeSats.

Congratulations to the Aleksandra Mochol, Krzysztof Zając, Kacper Kordek and Jakub Murawskiteam "Students' Space Association" from Warsaw University of Technology who won the student competition award for their presentation on "Development and qualification plan of an experimental cold-gas propulsion system for CubeSats  (PW-Sat) ".

The symposium hosted a student competition which will provide students with the opportunity to share their work on CubeSat design and missions. Awards are given to competition finalists.

The presentations were on relevant study and research related to:

  • Cubesats, systems and subsystems
  • Mission concepts
  • Related infrastructure : launchers and deployers, ground stations, etc.

We warmly thank the ESA Education office which offers a financial support for 3 students participating to the 12th European CubeSat Symposium.
